Well, you've always dreamed about being in a tropical hideaway, immersed in luxury and with your every whim catered for. And now you've got it! But even the strongest of dreamers gets bored sometimes. We know this! And so we have reached outside into the wide-world where your pleasure can't be always guaranteed, and straightened out all the paths for you.

Bo Phut

Go out, turn right on the main road and turn left when you get to the traffic lights - go on we dare you! Because you will quickly find yourself in Fisherman's Village. We're good at making things happen but we're still working on a way to bend time and space and get all this lot inside our resort. Until then ...

Fisherman's Village at one time was a village ... with fishermen. The local village, in fact, and about the only thing around these parts. Today it's still got most of the old original wooden buildings but nearly all of their downstairs frontage has been adapted. But, apart from that, the one long street is now a dreamy paradise for strolling visitors.

Pubs, restaurants, gift, souvenir and memento shops, theme bars and boutiques somehow still manage to look attractive and not-quite-tacky. Which is good. Because this is one of the few places you can get to on foot.

Chaweng

Hopping in a taxi will rapidly put you in Chaweng, and you'll either love it or hate it. Suffice it to say that there's nothing in the way of faux designer clothes, bags, watches, shoes, DVDs and music Cds that's not available.

There's some super restaurants, but don't be lured by pretty frontages on the street. The best ones are hidden, competition is fierce and the result is lower standards of cuisine and service. (Eat here instead!) Chaweng is a great place for the nightlife, a beach party or some power shopping.

Koh Samui

Other than this, we're not going to drown your dream with a million and one things to do or places to visit.
